Paul’s Request for Prayer, 2 Thessalonians 3:1–5—Experience

Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified, even as also with you; and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and evil men; for not all have faith. But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you, and guard you from the evil one. We have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you both do and will do the things we command. May the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patience of Christ.

Experience

The word is spreading in other parts of the world and that spreading word is accompanied by the power of God, God’s Holy Spirit, and deep conviction. This bringing forth of the Good News is also accompanied by the presence of Satan and “unreasonable and evil” people that would stand against the Good News changing their world. Please pray for the gospel. Please pray that God will continue to shine his light to the world and save all. Pray for those who carry this gospel. Pray for their success and deliverance from evil.
